Research Interests
Main area of research interest is in the human dimensions of natural resource management with special interest in the areas of recreational fishing and other recreational uses of marine environments. Theoretical areas of interest include substitutability in outdoor recreation, understanding catch-and-release behaviour of recreational fishers, and understanding and measuring determinants of satisfaction in outdoor recreation. Areas of applied research focus on collecting social information about resource users in support of natural resource management.
