WHALES

With the rapidly growing interest in whale-watching, there is much to be learnt about the impacts of such activities to whales and how this can be best managed. Current research is being undertaken on the compliance to whale-watching regulations and guidelines by whale-watch operators in Australia. Other associated research includes the long-term impacts of human encounter with Minke Whale and further management-orientated research into their biology and behaviour.
